Designing an object is different from designing an experience. Designing an experience is different from shaping an organization or a system. As the scale of design expands, so does the need to understand context, relationships, and the consequences of intervention.

Over time, my own practice has followed that path: from artifacts and experiences to organizations and complex systems. Subtle Design is the philosophy that emerged along the way.
